Childhood Connections: Our story began as kids, brought together by the whims of fate and the romance between Louie's uncle Albert and my cousin Susan. Little did we know that their love would set the stage for ours.

From Myspace Friends to Real-Life Partners: Despite the miles, years and life that separated us, we stayed in touch through yearly birthday posts on Myspace. Fun fact: we share the same birthday, making our connection even more special.

The Thanksgiving Miracle: After not seeing each other since we were about 16 It took a giant Thanksgiving gathering hosted by Susan and Albert to reunite us in person. We stayed up all night chatting catching up and making plans to meet in the upcoming weeks.

Starting Our Journey: It took a short 6 months after our very first date, for Louie to make the bold choice to move in with me. And another year for us to make our big move to Charlotte, where our adventure truly began.

Facing Life Together: Over the past nine years, we've experienced it all – from loss and financial stress to celebrating milestones, from starting new ventures to becoming proud dog parents. Through every high and low, we've remained constant pillars of support for each other.

The Proposal: After eight incredible years together, Louie decided it was time to pop the question. You would think I saw it coming but I didn’t lol .. I was completely shocked and still don’t really remember what either one of said other than, “Yes” without hesitation. Who wouldn't want to spend forever with their actual best friend?

Looking Ahead: And here we are, one year later, celebrating nine years of love and planning to kick off our tenth year with a wedding in beautiful Mexico. We couldn't be more excited to begin this new chapter surrounded by our loved ones.
